Handmade ceramics & a small, curated collection of curiosities for you to create your own magical environment

I started Wild Magic with the intention of merging my art – inspired by the tiny magics found within nature – with my love of antiques & vintage with their own unique witchy air.

Wild Magic is for those looking to surround themselves with enchantment and the power of natural magic, to create a personal environment that reflects your inner magical self and embraces your connection with the natural world.

The artist

An earth witch who feels coziest when living amongst her own magical gems and treasures, I’m a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with a specialty in ceramics.

I’ve worked professionally as an experience designer for over a decade, with an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons The New School of Design, and you can explore some of my work, including illustration, motion, & virtual reality on my professional portfolio here.

Also a medievalist, I have an MA in Medieval Studies and lived in York in the UK for several years, and I still feel a deep connection to the long history of magic there. I never feel so at home as when I’m climbing castle ruins in the North of England and Scottish countryside. I specialized in chivalric literature, and the themes are constantly surfacing in my work alongside Celtic folklore and historic witchcraft.

Ceramics

I am constantly inspired by the wild magic within nature, and love to explore the tiny hidden worlds of slime molds, mushrooms, and moss in my work.

Handbuilding in stoneware & porcelain clay fired to Cone 6, with a combination of underglazes and glaze, each piece is utterly unique.

Vintage & Antiques

Wild Magic’s vintage collection is curated by me, and I love finding unique curios that spark that wonderment and connection to the flora and fauna of the earth.

Exploring antique shops, thrift stores, & estate sales is a tradition passed down to me from my mother and grandmother, and I feel connected to them each time I forage for precious buried treasure.

FAQs

  • Every piece in the vintage collection is old and shows it’s age and decades of life. Everything is described the the best of my knowledge & research, and sold as-is, and due to fees & costs of shipping, I cannot do either full or partial returns.

    If you have questions about an item’s specific condition or functionality, please message me and I will do my best to answer as fully as possible, with any added photos or videos you need to feel confident in your purchase!

    I’m a one-person operation, doing this for the love finding special things to share, and doing my absolute best.

  • I recycle and reuse whatever I can when packing up your new treasures, working to the best of my abilities to protect each piece as carefully as possible. I’m definitely an over-bubbler!

    Currently only shipping to the US, if you want anything shipped internationally just send me a message and I can price it out to a specific location.

  • I’m based in Portlant, OR, and can arrange for a local pickup if you’re in the area – just send me a message and we can arrange a meeting.
